Investment Manager Structure Analysis

We conduct a manager structure analysis to determine the best number and types of managers. This review includes an analysis of the benefits that might be gained by utilizing additional asset classes and the merits of active or passive investment vehicles.

The existing management team is analyzed to identify "gaps" or duplication in the management structure. These are identified in terms of portfolio style characteristics (capitalization, P/E, yield, maturity, etc.).

This analysis helps you to better understand your current manager structure and to identify areas of potential improvement in your fund's risk/reward characteristics, investment options and diversification. It can be used both for restructuring or rebalancing current assets as well as for directing the flow of contributions. Conducting a manager structure analysis prior to commencing a search for new or additional managers helps assure that the managers considered are consistent with your objectives and appropriate for your investment program.
