Special Research Studies

Becker, Burke's research is client specific. It is designed to address issues and answer questions which will help clients make decisions. We find the keys to research are asking the right questions, knowing where to look for answers, and successfully interpreting the data that is developed in the research process. All Becker, Burke professionals have extensive experience in most aspects of the investment consulting business. Each professional in the firm is actively involved in the research we do for clients.

We find that a wealth of research data exists within the investment management community. When we deal with investment managers to research ideas, managers know that they are dealing with experienced professionals that work with clients at a decision-making level. Organizing, referencing and cross checking such information provides us with important sources of research data.

A second major source of research data is clients. We have a broadly diversified client base that a constantly evaluating all types of assets, investment vehicles and managers. In researching specific subjects for your plan it would be unusual for us to not already have some knowledge of and exposure to many of the ideas that need to be developed. The fact that our senior people are involved in client research gives us broad access to information and ideas and a unique perspective from which to interpret data for the benefit of our clients.

Our research is presented to clients as a part of our regular client meetings, or at special meetings as circumstances warrant.
